SUB-TOTAL

STAIRS/STEPS

NOTE 2We pay in three installments. Deposit is 30% of the total with the remainder paid in two installments.

Both parties inspect sections as progressively completed. E.g, once the painting is done, an inspection takes place regarding client satisfaction with the work done. So on and so forth with the flooring, stairwell, classroom and bathrooms and office respectively.

As to 'being satisfied' with the work done, the contractor recommended we inspect each 'task' once completed and move on to the next upon 'being satisfied'. According to them, any 'differences' would be communicated, discussed and worked out.

Their pledge, assurance and commitment as emphasized numerous times by the Owner and Project Mgr, and equally expressed as a concern by us so, is to complete the whole renovation project both to our satisfaction and with regards to their reputation.

NOTE 1: The mutally agreed to contract is $12,050.00 + $1566.50 (taxes)  =  Total: $13,616.50

As confirmed on site with contractors (both Owner and Project Mgr), the signed contract involving both baseboard, quarter round (materials + labour) is ($550,00) and Swing Doors ($100.00) as 'Total' regarding 'costs'.

Contract reads as mutually signed by both parties, "Cost: $12,050 plus HST (Incl hst #). $1566.50 = Total $13616.50".

Only exception to pricing would be (a) if the basement stairs couldn't be 'flipped' and pricing would reflect an additional $540.00  for new steps and (b) replacing the ladies bathroom vanity (approx $300.00 + tax) should it prove unsalvagable during removal. If 'flipping' possible, then pricing could be less than $13,616.50 as ackknowledged by the Owner and Project Manager. Regardless, labour for  'flipping' or 'new steps installation' included in 'labour cost' for steps as mentioned and confirmed by us with the Project Manager. 'Flipping' would reduce both material and labour costs. It was mutually agreed that once 'started' the project would continue without interuption save for 'natural processes' such as 'curing' etc.

1 Chronicles 29:9-17

Then the  people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord with a whole heart, and King David also rejoiced greatly.

David’s Prayer

10 So David blessed the Lord in the sight of all the assembly; and David said, “Blessed are You, O Lord God of Israel our father, forever and ever.

11 “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.

12 “Both riches and  honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is  power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.

13 “Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and  praise Your glorious name.

14 “But who am I and who are my  people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given You.

15 “For we are sojourners before You, and tenants, as all our fathers were; our days on the earth are like a shadow, and there is no  hope.

16 “O Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided to build You a house for Your holy name, it is from Your hand, and all is Yours.

17 “Since I know, O my God, that You try the heart and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your  people, who are present here, make their                offerings willingly to You.
