Everybody has a God-given freedom of will and choice to live whatever lifestyle they choose inasmuch as the choice, advocacy or oposition doesn't recipocrally harm one another. That said, freedoms of will and choice would have neither meaning nor relevence or substance without evidentiary freedoms of speech, religion and non-religion. Yet, there are lines that should not and cannot be crossed. The test and defining of those lines lay within the very essence, application and consequences of  what constitutes any position. Hopefully the governance of a stance can be seen in a precautionary light. If not, then prayerfully in the wake of hindsight at the stern, failing foresight at the bow. As 'they' say, the proof is in the pudding. 

With great liberty comes great responsibility and even greater accountability. Be prepared to take 'ownership'. For those who 'believe', ask Mr. Peabody to get Sherman to set the 'Wayback Machine' to the Garden of Eden, though that shouldn't really be necessary.  The consequences of disobedience in 'paradise' as told by God can be readily seen even today - as having come true (Genesis 3:14-19). The same can be said for the consequences of disobedience in 'heaven' can be just as easily seen today in the world around us. Revelation 12:7-9, And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war, 8 and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. NASU

Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:7-8, NASU​

Luke 10:17-18, The seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name." 18 And He said to them, "I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. NASU

Subsequently, as relates to the existence of God, the proof is also in the pudding. 

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse... Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures...  And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, Romans 1:20-25, 28, NASU.  

For those you who do not believe in the existence of God or choose to believe 'differently', far be it from me or anyone on this planet to try and force you to believe otherwise. For those of us who do believe in the existence of God, far be it from you or anybody else on this planet to try and force me to believe to the contrary.

But for all our sake's, subject to the aforementioned considerations of respect,  we owe it to each other to hear each and all sides out without pride, prejudice or persecution. We live very much in a world that figures 'might is right', 'I'll tell you what your opinion is' . The mindset is once again on the path towards... 

Then the Lord saw that the  wickedness of man was  great on the earth and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only  evil continually. 6 The Lord was sorry that He had  made man on the earth and He was  grieved in His heart...  Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth... But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. 9 These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God.  Genesis 6:5-7; 6:11-12; 6:8-9, NASU

We need to be blameless  'in our time'. However, as in the days of Noah, for mankind in general, it seems to be a bit of a stretch- always out of our collective grasp.

So, again for those who do not believe God exists and/or that there is but one God (though even the demons do and 'shudder', James 2:19 NASU), you can explain just where you're coming from when you see Him, on you're way to where you're going should you not change. Prayerfully it won't come to that. 

​For those who do believe God exists and that there is but one true God, 

James 2:18-19, But someone may well say, "You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.".

James 2:26, "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead". NASU

Interesting sidebar: Faith alone won't save any more than works alone will save. One apart from the other is a deadly 'uncombination'. Indeed, the proof is also in the pudding.​

'Bon Appetit'...

This rebuttal primarily concerns itself with an assertion written by a ‘Rev. Dr. Mel White’ who among narrating other stratagems, urges homosexual youth to accept as God-given, homosexual orientation. As he proclaims- ‘Celebrate it’. His claims were first posted November 04, 2011, and updated January 14, 2019.

The link to this tract by Mel White was sent to me by a Christian couple. The couple forwarded some thoughts along with a link to a ‘pamphlet’ by a ‘Rev Mel White’. The information was the causality and inspiration for the rather in-depth study.

That being the case, let me take the opportunity to recognize the couple’s good intentions and well wishes for which nothing but gratitude is intended and respectively extended in the love of Jesus Christ.

The material put out by ‘Reverend’ Mel White and I use the term ‘reverend’ in trepidation as ‘reverend’ should solely be invoked as to God. ‘Holy and reverend’ is His name only (Psalms 111:9). I have reviewed all material as sent to us, and studied a pamphlet published and publicly distributed by Mr. White. All forwarded religiously oriented materials sent and opinions expressed, mirror those of Mel White. His materials are available online. I have examined his claims and to say I have done so extensively would be an understatement. To say my response is comprehensive is also an understatement.

This retort incorporates anything and everything about the subject I have personally encountered through research, right down to the core Greek and Hebrew and yes English.

Yet, it is strictly first and foremost ‘bible’, augmented by science in all its relevant aspects.

Don’t be surprised that science and scientists, when it is right-when they are right, agree with what God says. He ‘conceived’ it and all respective scientific information will be ‘born’ out, accordingly.

God doesn’t need science to exist. Nor should anyone be against legitimate science. God isn't. God created science. Science wouldn’t and couldn’t exist without Him.

No God = No creation = No science 

Thus, the same cannot be said about science. The word as we know and use it today has its origin from the Latin 'Scientia', meaning ‘to know knowledge’. No creation, no science, nothing to know on and for our part and no us to know it. Well now, there's quite a chain reaction, wouldn't you say?

Without God, there would be no science ‘for us’ to muse about. Without God, there would be no ‘us’ for God to be ‘mindful’ of. And, ‘we’ are not simply a postscript to creation (Genesis 1:26-31; John 3:16-18; James 1:18).

All creation, universe included was specifically and attentively right down to the last detail, made for us as we were made for Him. And this is a ‘must read’. You must read it- out of humility not arrogance. Out of love and compassion- not hate and prejudice.
